VISIT: Bolivia City tour
We begin our tour at 5:00 a.m., with pickup from your hotel in La Paz.
We’ll travel about 45 minutes outside the city to the Valley of the Souls (Valle de las Ánimas), a stunning natural landscape filled with towering rock formations that look like something out of a fantasy film.
Here, we’ll enjoy a 1.5-hour hike to a natural viewpoint to watch the sunrise, accompanied by a boxed breakfast prepared by our team.
VALLEY OF THE MOON (VALLE DE LA LUNA)
Next, we’ll visit the famous Valley of the Moon, a surreal terrain of clay formations in shades of yellow and gray.
This site was named by astronaut Neil Armstrong, who remarked that it resembled the lunar surface.
You’ll have time to take photos and explore the area freely.
KILLI KILLI VIEWPOINT
We then continue to Mirador Killi Killi, one of the highest viewpoints in La Paz, offering panoramic views of the entire city and its dramatic surroundings.
WALKING TOUR – HISTORIC CENTER
At 11:00 a.m., we’ll begin a walking tour through the historic center of La Paz, visiting:
- Plaza Murillo, the seat of government and a key historical landmark.
- Calle Jaén, one of the city’s most charming colonial streets, known for its colorful facades and preserved architecture.
FREE TIME – LUNCH
Around 12:30 p.m., you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Your guide will suggest great options based on your preferences.

SAN FRANCISCO CHURCH & WITCHES’ MARKET
After lunch, we’ll visit the San Francisco Church, one of the city’s most important colonial temples, and the Witches’ Market, where you’ll learn about Andean spirituality and the traditional medicine still practiced by local healers.
LA PAZ CABLE CAR EXPERIENCE
We’ll end the day with a ride on La Paz’s iconic cable car system, the highest and longest urban cable car network in the world, offering breathtaking views of the city from above.
END OF TOUR:
The tour concludes around 4:30 p.m., with drop-off at your hotel or a central location in La Paz.
