VISIT: Copacabana Full Day tour

We begin our journey to the Isla del Sol at 6:10 a.m., with pickup directly from your hotel in Puno or La Paz. We’ll travel by private vehicle for approximately 3.5 hours to reach the charming town of Copacabana, located 151 km away.

Along the way, we’ll drive along the shores of the majestic Lake Titicaca, enjoying panoramic views of the lake and the stunning Cordillera Real mountain range.

ACTIVITIES IN COPACABANA

Upon arrival, our local guide will welcome you and lead a walking tour through this traditional Andean village, visiting:

• The Sanctuary of the Dark Virgin (Virgen Morena):
  A major pilgrimage site deeply revered by locals and travelers alike.

   

• The Chapel of Candles:
  A symbolic and intimate place where visitors leave offerings, prayers, and expressions of gratitude.

   

ISLA DEL SOL (ISLAND OF THE SUN)

After exploring Copacabana, we’ll board a boat to navigate the tranquil waters of Lake Titicaca toward the Isla del Sol, one of the most mystical and historically rich places in the Andes.

On the southern side of the island, we’ll visit:

• The Inca’s Garden
  
• The Fountain of Youth
  
• The Temple of Pilkokaina
  

Each of these sites is steeped in Inca legends and offers breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

After the visit, we’ll return by boat to Copacabana and then continue by vehicle back to your hotel in Puno or La Paz.

END OF TOUR:

The tour concludes around 8:30 p.m., with drop-off directly at your hotel.
