VISIT: Machu Picchu 2 Days Inca Trail
Our tour begins very early at 4:00 A.M. with pickup from your hotel in the city of Cusco. We will travel by tourist transport for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to Ollantaytambo, where we will enjoy breakfast before continuing the adventure.
Then we will board the train to Kilometer 104, the starting point of the hike. From here, we begin one of the most beautiful sections of the Inca Trail, surrounded by Andean landscapes, mountains, and a great variety of flora and fauna.
During the hike, we will visit important Inca archaeological sites, highlighting Wiñay Wayna, one of the most impressive complexes along the trail. After the visit, we will enjoy a picnic-style lunch with spectacular views.
We will continue walking through the cloud forest, where you can observe orchids, flowers, and local birds. In the late afternoon, we will arrive at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku), where you will have your first panoramic view of Machu Picchu.
Then we will walk approximately 45 minutes to reach Machu Picchu, where we will take a guided visit through the upper section following Circuit 01, ideal for capturing the classic panoramic photo.
After the visit, we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes, arriving at around 5:00 P.M. The guide will assist you with hotel check-in. You will have free time to rest or visit the hot springs. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner and rest at the hotel.

VISIT: Machu Picchu 2 Days Inca Trail
The second day is the most anticipated moment of the trip: the visit to Machu Picchu. Very early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aguas Calientes, and together you will walk to the bus station to take one of the first buses, around 5:30 A.M. The bus ride lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Upon arriving at the entrance to Machu Picchu, you must present your passport and entrance ticket. Once inside, the guide will take you to one of the best spots to capture panoramic photos of the citadel.
You will then begin a 2 to 3-hour guided tour following Circuit 03, where you will discover the main highlights of Machu Picchu, including the Temple of the Sun, Inca houses, water fountains, agricultural terraces, the Sacred Rock, the Temple of the Condor, and the ancient storage buildings.
At the end of the tour, you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch. Later, your guide will accompany you to the train station to begin the return journey to Ollantaytambo.
Upon arrival, tourist transportation will be waiting to take you back to the city of Cusco, with an approximate arrival time of 7:30 P.M., dropping you off at your hotel.
Optional Hikes
If you have reserved an additional hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, the guide will indicate the starting point of the trail and provide all safety recommendations and advice, as well as give you the bus ticket for the return to Aguas Calientes.
These hikes are done independently, as the trails are well marked. If you wish to have an additional guide, this service is available at an extra cost. Please let us know in advance if you require it.
