Our tour to the 7 Lagoons of Ausangate begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. We then head by minivan to the village of Pacchanta, located at over 4,200 meters above sea level, on a journey of approximately 3 hours.

Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a delicious Andean breakfast before starting our hike. Gradually, we’ll ascend through breathtaking landscapes until reaching the first lagoon at 4,600 meters, and from there continue visiting the rest.

The hike lasts about 5 hours round trip, passing through vibrant-colored lagoons such as Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q’omercocha, Orqo Otorongo, and China Otorongo — true natural mirrors at high altitude.

Along the way, we’ll encounter local wildlife: alpacas, llamas, Andean birds, and the curious vizcachas. All of this surrounded by towering mountains and pure air that revitalizes both body and soul.

After finishing the hike, we return to Pacchanta where you can relax in the medicinal hot springs — the perfect reward after a scenic trek. Then we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch made with fresh local products.

Finally, we head back to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 p.m., and drop you off at your hotel — ending an unforgettable experience among the most majestic mountains of the southern Andes.

• VISIT: Ausangate 7 Lagoons – You’ll hike 12 km round trip at elevations ranging from 4,200 m to 4,600 m. This means approximately 6 hours of trekking, including plenty of breaks and photo stops.

• STARTS AT: 4:30 A.M. Pickup from your hotel in Cusco.

• FINISHES AT: 5:00 P.M. Approximately two blocks from the Plaza de Armas.
