VISIT: Classic Sacred Valley Full Day from Cusco
We’ll begin our adventure through the Sacred Valley of the Incas by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:30 A.M.
Board our comfortable tourist transport and enjoy breathtaking Andean views as we make our way toward the heart of the valley.
Stop 1: Taray Viewpoint
Our first stop will be at the Taray lookout, where you’ll take in a spectacular panoramic view of the vast and fertile Sacred Valley.
Stop 2: Pisac Archaeological Site & Market
Next, we’ll explore the impressive Pisac Archaeological Site, perched atop a mountain. Discover its terraces, temples, and ceremonial structures, learning about the Inca agricultural system and spiritual beliefs.
Afterward, we’ll descend to the Pisac Artisan Market, a perfect place to admire local craftsmanship and buy handmade souvenirs.
Stop 3: Buffet Lunch in Urubamba
We’ll then continue along the scenic Vilcanota River until reaching Urubamba, where you’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at an A1 restaurant featuring traditional Peruvian cuisine, in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.
Stop 4: Ollantaytambo Archaeological Complex
Our journey continues to Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town that still preserves its original urban design. Visit its massive stone terraces, the Temple of the Sun, and the Princess’ Baths, marveling at the skill and precision of Inca architecture.
Stop 5: Chinchero – Textiles & Archaeology
Before returning to Cusco, we’ll visit Chinchero, a charming Andean town known for its ancestral weaving traditions. At a Textile Interpretation Center, you’ll learn about ancient dyeing and weaving techniques.
We’ll also explore the Chinchero Archaeological Site, where Inca and colonial history beautifully intertwine.
SCHEDULE:
- START: 7:30 A.M. – Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco.
- END: 6:30 P.M. – Drop-off one block from Cusco’s Main Square (Plaza de Armas).
