VISIT: Iquitos 4 days and 3 nights
We begin our Amazon Tour – Yanayacu Lodge at 9:15 a.m., picking you up from the airport or your hotel in Iquitos before heading to the port for embarkation.
We’ll start our navigation along the Itaya River until reaching its confluence with the majestic Amazon River, where we’ll make a special stop to search for pink and gray dolphins — a truly unique natural experience in the Peruvian Amazon.
Our journey continues for approximately 2.5 hours along the Amazon River before entering the Yanayacu tributary, surrounded by stunning jungle landscapes.
Around 12:30 p.m., we’ll arrive at the Amazon lodge, where you’ll be warmly welcomed. Between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m., enjoy a delicious regional lunch.
In the afternoon, we’ll go on an interpretative walk to learn about medicinal plants and jungle trees, as well as search for sloths and toucans. Later, we’ll watch a beautiful Amazonian sunset from a scenic viewpoint.
At 7:00 p.m., we’ll have dinner at the lodge, followed by a night walk to observe tarantulas, caimans, and other nocturnal wildlife in their natural habitat.
Finally, at 9:00 p.m., we’ll return to the lodge to rest and enjoy a peaceful night in the heart of the Amazon.

VISIT: Iquitos 4 days and 3 nights
We begin our second day in the Amazon very early, at 5:30 a.m., with a magical sunrise observation experience from the lodge — a perfect time to enjoy the peace of the jungle and the breathtaking beauty of its surroundings.
During this activity, we’ll engage in birdwatching, spotting typical regional species such as herons, eagles, parakeets, and parrots, among others.
At 7:30 a.m., enjoy a hearty Amazonian breakfast before starting a variety of adventure and nature activities:
- Traditional fishing for piranhas, palometas, and sábalo fish.
- Search for iguanas in their natural habitat.
- Canoe ride along the river, with observation of local flora.
- Optional visit to the Yagua community, where you’ll learn about their customs, traditional clothing, and handmade crafts.
- Visit to Neyser Monkey Island, a rescue center where several species of monkeys live freely.
Between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m., we’ll enjoy lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, we’ll set out on a boat excursion to search for pink and gray dolphins. During the dry season, you’ll also have the chance to enjoy a mud bath and safe swimming in the river.
At 7:00 p.m., we’ll have dinner at the lodge, followed by a night excursion to witness the fascinating nocturnal life of the rainforest.
Finally, at 10:00 p.m., we’ll return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest.

VISIT: Iquitos 4 days and 3 nights
We begin our third day in the Amazon at 6:00 a.m. with an exploratory walk in search of howler monkeys, one of the most emblematic species of the rainforest. During this walk, you’ll enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere of the Amazon and hear the distinctive roar of these fascinating primates echoing through the jungle.
Between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., we’ll enjoy a typical Amazonian breakfast, followed by a boat ride through Falcón Lagoon, a lush area surrounded by dense vegetation — perfect for observing the local flora and fauna.
Next, we’ll take part in traditional sport fishing, an authentic activity that allows you to experience the daily customs of Amazonian riverside communities.
At 1:00 p.m., we’ll have lunch at the lodge, then continue with the search for the Victoria Regia, the most iconic aquatic plant of the Peruvian Amazon.
At 7:00 p.m., we’ll gather for dinner at the lodge, ending the day with stories of Amazonian myths and legends — a unique cultural experience that connects you with the ancient traditions of the jungle.

We begin our last day in the Amazon at 6:00 a.m. with the beautiful experience of watching the sunrise in the heart of the jungle — the perfect moment to enjoy the peace of nature and witness the awakening of local wildlife.
Between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., we’ll enjoy a regional Amazonian breakfast before setting off on a boat ride through Yaguacocha Lagoon, where we’ll have the chance to spot monkeys and sloths in their natural habitat, observing their behavior in total freedom.
Around 1:00 p.m., we’ll return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax before preparing for the return journey.
At 2:30 p.m., we’ll begin our trip back to Iquitos, traveling by river and land.
We expect to arrive at the port in Iquitos around 5:00 p.m., where guests will disembark and connect with their next transfers.
For those with evening flights, transportation to the airport will be provided around 6:00 p.m. (please coordinate flight times in advance).
