We’ll pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco at 6:50 A.M. to get ahead of the crowds and make the most of your day exploring the heart of the Inca world. You’ll visit the most iconic and fascinating sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
VISIT:
- Chinchero: A traditional textile center where you’ll learn the complete process of alpaca weaving — from shearing and dyeing with natural pigments to creating vibrant Andean garments.
- Moray: The fascinating Inca agricultural laboratory, featuring circular terraces once used to study microclimates and crop adaptation.
- Maras Salt Mines (Salineras): Over 3,000 salt pools still harvested by local families using techniques passed down since pre-Inca times.
- Ollantaytambo: One of the last Inca strongholds that resisted the Spanish conquest, showcasing impressive terraces and stonework.
- Pisaq: A vast archaeological site with more than 40,000 Inca tombs, agricultural terraces, and breathtaking mountain views.
Along with exploring these incredible destinations and immersing yourself in the rich Inca culture, we’ll include a buffet lunch of traditional Peruvian cuisine at a top-rated restaurant in the heart of the Sacred Valley.
