We offer 2 different schedules, and in both cases, we pick you up from your hotel as long as it is located within Cusco’s tourist area.
We also have 2 different routes: one is Moray with the Maras Salt Mines, and the other is an alternative route for those traveling with children, which is called Huaypo Lagoon with the Maras Salt Mines.
1st Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
2nd Schedule: 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
VISIT:
Cusco – the town of Cruz Pata by van to board the ATVs.
Round trip on ATV from Cruz Pata to Moray, a 32 km route.
Due to the narrow road and the traffic of tourist vehicles, the trip to the Maras Salt Mines is done by vehicle.
FINISHES AT: 1:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. in Cusco, one block from the Main Square, depending on the schedule you choose with us.
INCLUDES:
- Transportation: Cusco – Cruz Pata – Maras Salt Mines – Cusco.
- Semi-automatic ATVs for the 32 km round-trip Cruz Pata – Moray route.
- Helmet.
- Transportation from Cruz Pata to the Maras Salt Mines, and return to Cusco.
NOT INCLUDED:
Entrance ticket to Moray and Salt Mines (BTG – Cusco Tourist Ticket required for Moray).

- English and Spanish speaking guide.
- Semiautomatic quat bikes Cruz Pata – Moray.
- Transportation Cuzco – Cruz Pata (town where you’ll get the quatbikes).
- Helmet.
- Due to their direct payment to the Peruvian government or local communities with cash, fees to enter to Moray and salt mines are not included.
- The following applies: 70 soles to enter Moray (if you purchased BTG “General Tourist Ticket” before, you DON’T need to buy it again), 20 soles in the Salt mines Maras.
- Total amount in fees: 90 soles.
- We recommend that you to bring the local currency SOLES (PEN) for each payment they do not take cart or dollars.

Travel insurance (Peruvian laws recommend that you enter Peru with insurance purchased in your country of origin). - We work with some clinics and can help you arrange medical attention if needed (the clinics will apply the insurance you previously purchased; however, they do not offer travel insurance).
- Personal medicine.
- Day backpack (with rain cover if possible).
- Water (we recommend 1L per day).
- Rain jacket/poncho.
- Extra snacks.
- Hiking shoes and pants.
- Sun hat, sun scream, and sunglasses.
- Chapstick.
- Insect repellent.
- Warm clothes (thermal base layer, sweater, fleece).
- Motion sickness tablets (roads are windy).
- Extra cash in soles.
