Day 1: Rainbow Mountain an ATV

The second most visited place in Cusco is spectacular—especially if you can enjoy it all to yourself.
With our ATV Tour, that’s possible! We offer different departure times, allowing you to choose between an early morning start and arriving first, or a later departure to enjoy a more relaxed morning at your hotel. Either way, you’ll have the chance to experience Rainbow Mountain practically all to yourself.

You’ll reach the base of Rainbow Mountain and take a short 5-minute hike to the viewpoint, where breathtaking views and unforgettable photo opportunities await.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and drive in a van to a small town called Cusipata for breakfast. Then we’ll continue through small villages, passing by Pitumarca, until we reach the start of the adventure.
Upon arrival, you’ll receive your ATV, practice for a few minutes, and then begin a 30-minute ride up to the base of Rainbow Mountain. From there, a short 5-minute walk will take you to the top viewpoint. Afterward, we’ll return in the van, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Cusipata, and finally head back to Cusco city.

DAILY DEPARTURES:
We offer departure options at 3:00 am, 4:00 am, 6:00 am, 8:30 am, and 10:00 am.

OCCASIONAL DEPARTURES:
Only available on specific days and some holidays at 2:00 am and 10:00 am.

NOTE 1: If you want to secure a specific time slot, please make your reservation at least 15 days in advance. We also recommend contacting one of our travel advisors via WhatsApp for assistance.

NOTE 2: For the 8:30 am and 10:00 am departures only, breakfast is not included, and the pick-up point will be at the fountain in Plaza Regocijo, one block from the main square (Plaza de Armas).

For all other departure times, hotel pick-up is included if you are staying within the tourist zone of Cusco city.

On specific holidays with 2:00 am departures, lunch is not included as the return to Cusco is scheduled for around 2:00 pm.

There are no discounts or refunds for services not used due to logistical matters with the community-run restaurant.

Travel Insurance (Peruvian law recommends entering Peru with insurance purchased in your home country). We work with several clinics and can assist you in arranging medical care if needed. Please note that the clinics will apply the coverage from your pre-purchased insurance; however, they do not offer travel insurance themselves.
Tips for the tour guides.

NOTE: We will not include breakfast for the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. schedules, and the pickup point will be at Plaza Regocijo, one block away from the main square of Cusco.
For the rest of the schedules, we will pick you up from your hotel as long as it is located within the tourist zone of Cusco city.

GET IN PERU will only charge you an advance of 50% to book your seat on the tour; the rest must be paid three days before the tour departs, either via deposit or in cash with one of our team members.
