VISIT: Singrenacocha Lake
Singrenacocha Lake is a unique destination that almost no one else knows about in Cusco. It’s located at the foot of the Colque Cruz glacier, just off a detour along the southern stretch of the Interoceanic Highway.
With us, forget about waking up at dawn!
We start at 7:00 AM with pickup from your hotel in Cusco in a private vehicle. From there, we travel for approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes along the southern route of the Interoceanic Highway.
After passing through picturesque villages and the checkpoint, we’ll arrive at the top of the lookout point where you’ll get your first breathtaking view of Singrenacocha Lake and the Colque Cruz glacier.
Together with our guide, you’ll take a gentle 1 km round-trip walk along part of Singrenacocha Lake. Your guide will help you take beautiful photos at the best scenic spots.
You’ll also hear the local legend of how Singrenacocha Lake got its name — a story passed down by the residents of the area. To top it off, you’ll enjoy a delicious box lunch with a view of the lake.
After soaking in the incredible landscape and enjoying your included lunch, we’ll return to our private vehicle and head back to Cusco.
DAILY DEPARTURES:
Currently, we only offer departures at 7:00 AM from your hotel in Cusco city.
NOTE 1: Since Singrenacocha Lake is a newly emerging tourist destination, it does not yet have proper infrastructure. Therefore, we provide a tourist box lunch and snacks (coca candy and chocolate).
NOTE 2: We have limited availability of professional photographer-guides. If you wish to include this service, an additional $75.00 USD will be added to the total cost (this is a total price per group, not per person).
You will receive 10 edited photos within 5 calendar days after the tour.
