VISIT: Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley by ATV – Full Day Tour
Discover Rainbow Mountain in a different way than you see online.
We take you to explore Rainbow Mountain through the Red Valley by ATV, and then you will hike to reach the mountain—keep reading for all the details.
VISIT: Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley by ATV
We start by picking you up from your hotel early in the morning in Cusco city. Our guide will pass by your hotel between 4:10 AM and 5:00 AM, depending on your location within the tourist area.
Once in the van, we will travel for two hours to the town of Cusipata, where we will have an included buffet breakfast. Then we continue by van with our guide for another hour to the base camp in the Red Valley, where your ATV will be provided.
You will practice for a few minutes and then start a 40-minute ATV ride through the Red Valley. Our guide will make a stop to take photos with a great perspective of the place.
You will reach the summit viewpoint of the Red Valley and then begin a 1 km hike to Rainbow Mountain, which takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes on foot. Finally, you will arrive at Rainbow Mountain.
This plan is for people seeking adrenaline and also a bit of exercise by walking through the colorful hills.
After taking many photos at Rainbow Mountain, we return along the same trail to the Red Valley and then ride the ATV back to the base camp.
We board the van to the restaurant and start the journey back to Cusco city, arriving around 4:30 PM.
DAILY DEPARTURES: Currently, we only have the 4:00 AM schedule.
NOTE 1: This route is new. If you want to secure a specific date and number of participants, we recommend booking at least 15 days in advance; otherwise, contact a travel advisor via the WhatsApp button.
