07:00 AM – Pickup at your hotel in Puno
We begin the service with a direct pickup from your accommodation located in the downtown area or the Plaza de Armas of Puno to transfer to the main dock.
07:30 AM – Boarding at the Puno dock
We set sail on a comfortable motorboat along with an experienced captain and our official tour guide, who will share the history, myths, and origin of the inhabitants of Titicaca.
08:00 AM – Arrival at the Uros floating islands
We explore the ancestral lifestyle of this indigenous community that builds and inhabits its own floating islands made of totora reeds. Free time for photos and interacting with the families.
09:30 AM – Deep navigation toward Taquile
We continue the boat journey heading deeper into the open waters of the lake.
You can access the upper deck of the boat to enjoy the Andean breeze and contemplate the Altiplano landscapes.
11:00 AM – Arrival at Taquile Island
We arrive at this island famous for its living culture and its textile art recognized by UNESCO.
Upon disembarking, we will begin an uphill trek along stone paths toward the main square at an altitude of 3,812 meters.
11:30 AM – Cultural immersion and traditional dances
The residents of Taquile will welcome us with traditional attire, local music, and dances.
Our guide will explain their complex textile codes and their exemplary community organization.
12:00 PM – Andean lunch with a view of Lake Titicaca
We will enjoy a lunch with local ingredients in a community restaurant in front of a spectacular panoramic view.
Tourism here is managed on a rotating and equitable basis among the families.
01:00 PM – Scenic hike to the departure port
We descend the island's paths toward the opposite dock to board the boat once again. This route offers some of the best panoramic views of the lake horizon, ideal for photography.
02:00 PM – Return by boat to Puno
We begin the return journey sailing back toward the main port of the city, a perfect moment to relax and process the experience of the living Andean culture.
03:30 PM – Arrival at the dock and farewell
We arrive at the port of Puno, where our official guide will conclude the guiding service and say goodbye to the group. Gratuities or tips are voluntary and are accepted as a gesture of appreciation for the service.
03:45 PM – Final transfer and return to your hotel
Our team will meet you at the dock to transfer you back to your accommodation, thus ending our full-day Lake Titicaca tour around 04:00 PM.

Dress in layers. At an altitude of 3,812 meters, the lake breeze freezes. Be sure to bring a windbreaker jacket, a beanie for the cold, sunglasses, and sunscreen (the Andean sun burns twice as fast).

June and July (Andean winter). The days are super sunny and clear, but temperatures drop as low as 5°C in the morning and at night. Travel prepared.
