As one of the most beautiful cities in Peru, climbing to these 3 viewpoints in Cusco that we recommend will undoubtedly make your vacation even more pleasant and meaningful, in the sense of discovering everything this city has to offer and, why not, taking beautiful souvenir photos with you.
Keep in mind that at the end of all the descriptions of the viewpoints in Cusco, we will leave you a Google Maps link so that you can locate yourself very easily and get there on your own.
Likewise, here we leave you a video so that you can have a visual perspective or save yourself the reading. Let’s begin:
1. San Cristóbal Viewpoint:
Without a doubt, it is the perfect place to watch the sunset in the city of Cusco. Whether you are with your partner or with your group of friends, having a couple of Cuzqueña beers while watching the sun go down is an experience that we can assure you 100% you will never, ever forget.

To reach this viewpoint, you can walk for about 5 to 8 minutes from the Main Square of the city, using Suecia Street, Resbalosa Street, and the San Cristóbal temple as reference points.
The perfect time at this Cusco viewpoint to enjoy the sunset is from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. As for safety, there is constant patrol by the police and the city’s municipal security service, so you will feel safe at all times.

2. The Cristo Blanco Viewpoint:
The second viewpoint in the city of Cusco is Cristo Blanco, located a few minutes farther uphill from the previous viewpoint. By climbing a slope made entirely of steps, you will reach this beautiful place.
It will take you between 30 and 45 minutes at a tourist pace to reach the top, and if you do not want to walk for that long, you can take a taxi to the top, which will cost between 30.00 and 35.00 soles.

From the top, you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Church of the Society of Jesus, and the rest of this beautiful city. We recommend going in the morning, since in the afternoons it is usually crowded with tourists. Both times, whether in the morning or to watch the sunset, are perfect from the top of this Cusco viewpoint.
On your way back to the city, you can take the opportunity to stop by some restaurants with views of the city and continue enjoying a beautiful vacation.

3. The San Blas Viewpoint:
This Cusco viewpoint is the one that offers many more options for restaurants and bars with views of the city so that you can have a good time.
The streets of the San Blas neighborhood are iconic because of how narrow and long they are. Taking two of these passages as reference, 7 Angelitos Street and 7 Diablitos Street, you will reach the San Blas Viewpoint, our third favorite spot for admiring the city of Cusco.

Going down Pasñapacana Street, you will come across several restaurants that have views of the city of Cusco and where we recommend having dinner or watching the sunset for at least one night if you are already in the city.
In addition to this, if you have a free day or afternoon, we recommend stopping by the artisans’ houses. San Blas has in fact always stood out for being the neighborhood where oil paintings and full-bodied statues of different saints and Christian representations are made. Among the families that stand out for producing internationally recognized works is the Mendivil workshop, a family that in fact represents Cusco during the Christmas celebration every year.

You can buy the works of the Mendivil family and take them back to your country without any problem, or if you prefer, you can take advantage of your BTG (General Tourist Ticket) and visit the Cusco Popular Art Museum located on Av. El Sol and learn a little more about the rich Peruvian culture.
